Did anyone else get the drug spam via the athomemailcheck list?
Interestingly, it got through to my GMail account but seems to have been
caught by the Comcast spam filters.

FYI:

Yes, I'm still alive and kicking. Well, sort of. After an MRI, CT Scan and
ultrasound biopsy, it was determined that there was an 85% chance that I had
some sort of thyroid cancer. The entire thyroid was removed on Jul. 27, and
it was subsequently found that I had a cyst on one side and cancer tumor on
the other side. It was a "minimally invasive" tumor so I will be getting a
radiation treatment (aka Thyrogen stimulation abatement with RI-131) next
month. In the meantime, my hormones are shot to hell and they have changed
my meds 4 times trying to find the right levels. I SO loved having this on
top of the Bells Palsy, from which, it was determined, I will never
completely recover.

Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Hiya George, I bet there's a lot listening. It'll heat up... when the
2008 election comes around (maybe even 2006). :-)

Yep, it's still going. Did you mean spam on that list or spam in this
newsgroup? I've seen little in either place.

Sorry, I was referring to:
"Did anyone else get the drug spam via the athomemailcheck list?"

Hehe... I guess I left AtHomeMailCheck when I left @Home. Dang, that
was 5+ years ago! Comcast having the same problems? I bet there
would *still* be stuck messages... :-)

Actually, that's the first time I have seen any from/through that list.

Comcast having the same problems?
Not at all. There are still some occasional glitches, but nothing worse
than what happens to any network at some time or other. In fact, the
Comcast mail has been running very well.

After reading some complaints about how long it took Comcast mail to get
through I set up a second, GMail, account on the list so I would have some
means of comparison. Well, the Comcast list mail always comes through right
away, right on time. However, there are often lags of hours or more on the
GMail account.

I'm glad it's treatable, Mady. Hang in there! Hope you get back to normal soon.

My daughter-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer a couple of months ago.
Fortunately it was the lightest form and caught early. She's undergoing radiation
at this time. It won't require chemo.

Hiya mady!!

Any email sent to 'athomemailcheck' (the email) account should only go to
me and NEVER to the Yahoo Group. Any email sent to 'athomemailcheck' (the
group) should be held/filtered and not sent to the members of the group.
Only the email account is authorized to go through without being held. I've
seen spam that used 'athomemailcheck' (the email) as a 'From' but it's been
a fraudulent 'From'. Neither the 'athomemailcheck' email account nor any
of my accounts have yet been taken over by any worm, so it's not been "BOT-
ified."

Sorry to be so tardy in replying ... but this group is so quiet that I've
gotten out of the habit of checking it.

I sure hope you're able to look forward to better health, luv! I'll send
good vibes for just that.
